Third Generation AutoCAD Search Portal Provides Best-of-Breed Functionality

SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 6, 2003 - Docupoint today announced the immediate availability of Docupoint Discovery v3.0, a technical document search portal for AutoCAD drawings and office documents. Discovery combines the functionality of a full text search engine, web server and Docupoint's Whip-n-Post!T DWF (Design Web Format) publishing component into a single, easy to use, server application.

Discovery is ideally suited for organizations that need to make large drawing archives easily available on-line for viewing and printing. Discovery is unique in that the indexing process is fully automatic, eliminating time consuming and error prone manual cataloging of the files. Full text search capabilities allows drawings to be located by any text or number string inside the file.

The enhancements incorporated into Docupoint Discovery v3.0 include:

. Support for Autodesk's i-drop? Drag and drop functionality

. Directory browse capability which can be combined with full text search

. Additional search conditions including contains all, contains any and Boolean search

. Real-time re-processing of new, changed and deleted files

. Improved integration of 'office' document search capabilities

. Support for Unicode/double byte character sets
