Nemetschek North America Releases Updates to its Entire Line of VectorWorks Products

Columbia, Maryland (February 12, 2003)- Nemetschek North America announced today the release of VectorWorks, RenderWorks, ARCHITECT, LANDMARK, and MECHANICAL 10.1. Version 10.1 is the first major release in the company's VectorWorks 10 product line. It offers VectorWorks users improved functionality, new capabilities and greater stability. This version serves as the foundation technology for the company's recently released VectorWorks SPOTLIGHT 10, and provides the basis for localized international versions of VectorWorks 10.

"In addition to providing users with our most up-do-date CAD technology, the 10. 1 release clears the way for our international partners to make available their localized version of VectorWorks 10 in Europe, Japan, and South America", said Dan Monaghan, Director of Marketing for Nemetschek North America.

The U.S./International English version of VectorWorks 10.1 is being made available to all registered users. VectorWorks users interested in receiving the update on CD-ROM may purchase one for a nominal fee. The free downloadable update will be available online the week of February 17. International users should query their local distributor for pricing and availability.

"A new Cavity Join tool allows users to correctly join together walls containing complex cavities. In addition, a global Show/Hide Cavity preference makes it easy to display walls correctly at varying scales, and Y joins can now be completed in a single step."
