Leuven, Belgium - February 13, 2003– Capvidia, a Belgium company, today announced a strategic reseller partnership with leading value-added reseller CADimensions, Inc. of East Syracuse, New York. According to the terms of the agreement, CADimensions will be a distributor of FaceWorks and FormatWorks in their assigned SolidWorks territory, in the Northeast region of the United States.

FaceWorks combines the power of standard SolidWorks with functions designed to simplify tooling and manufacturing applications on 3D CAD models. FaceWorks uses the latest SolidWorks user interface concepts (property page) providing smooth integration into the SolidWorks environment. Users benefit from standard SolidWorks functions complemented with specialized easy to use tools simplifying the tool-making process dramatically and minimizing costs and manufacturing times.

FormatWorks extends the repair and healing capabilities for SolidWorks. Operations are fully automatic, while manual operations are intuitive and easy to use. FormatWorks verifies and improves model quality of models created in SolidWorks or imported form another CAD system. FormatWorks extends SolidWorks file import capabilities with (IGES, VDA-FS) formats, provides model geometry check (VDA4955, AIAG D-15, JAMA), automatically verifies and improves model to a valid SolidWorks model and features alternative file export (IGES with CAD system flavors) capability. Faulty SolidWorks models can be easily repaired with minimum user interaction.
