Site Features New 2003 Expanded Functionality for Both Buyers and Suppliers

Atlanta, GA � January 30, 2003 � ManufacturingQuote Inc. announced today it will roll out Version 4.0 of MfgQuote.com, the leading online marketplace that intelligently connects buyers and suppliers of made-to-order parts and equipment. This web-based service will sport a wide range of new enhancements and usability tools that are mutually beneficial for buyer and supplier members. MfgQuote v4.0 will be demonstrated in MfgQuote�s Booth #7726 at the National Design Engineering Show, McCormick Place, in Chicago, IL, from March 3 - 6, 2002.

MfgQuote.com v4.0 ushers in an expanded Rating System, a new toolbar with quick-links, and a host of user requested features. The overall sourcing and quoting process continues to be streamlined as new tools and step-by-step wizards add greater efficiencies. One of the most popular features is the MfgQuote Rating System (similar to eBay�s Feedback Rating system) for evaluating and rating business transactions. This system has been upgraded with new tools for members to rate their experiences with participants in the online marketplace. Buyers and Suppliers have access to profiles and ratings for due-diligence purposes.

MfgQuote�s new toolbar feature displays icons that link directly to vital information anytime while surfing the web. Users have rapid access to their personal dashboards and dropdown to-do-lists that link them to new messages, notices, and tasks that need to be performed. From the toolbar, one can search Google, query for buyers and suppliers, or view RFQs with the results appearing in the browser window. Additional features include a resources link, a popup calculator for �on the fly� number crunching, and a handy �Live Help� icon that automatically connects the user to a knowledgeable MfgQuote technical assistant.

MfgQuote Buyers will find additional enhancements. MfgQuote v4.0 allows the buyer to create and manage preferred vendor lists. Enhanced supplier discovery tools allow buyers to dynamically expand their supply chain. New reporting tools allow data to be exported and charts/graphs to be created from the data for efficient quote analysis and budget tracking. A new Print feature allows RFQs and quotes to be printed from within the application in a format similar to traditional printed RFQs and quotes. Using their dashboard, buyers can track in real-time suppliers that have accepted their non-disclosure agreement, in addition to those suppliers who have quoted and are preparing quotes.

MfgQuote Supplier members will notice newly integrated features to enhance their marketing and quoting efforts. The Supplier profile information has been expanded to include verification of ISO certification, and allows the Supplier to choose and display their top three core service areas. Using the Supplier dashboard, the user can quickly locate open RFQs for each buyer, and also manage, review, and retrieve data specific to their needs. Suppliers can now upload images directly to their MfgProfile � making the online experience ever more personal.

MfgQuote.com is a no-commission, non-auction sourcing service. Buyers can post RFQs for free. Suppliers pay a flat annual service fee or may opt for a monthly payment plan. MfgQuote customer service is available to all buyers and suppliers.
