CADsymbolsT Releases Entire Product Line in 3d Studio� (.3ds) File Format

New York, NY (12.16.02) - Cardiff Consultants, Limited, the developer of the CADsymbolsT family of 3D objects, is pleased to announce the introduction of its more than 1,300 symbols in .3ds format, supplementing the existing .DWG, .DXF, and .TCW libraries. The 3d Studio� format is the native format for Autodesk's 3d Studio� software and is able to be imported into a wide range of professional level programs, and even by hobbyist programs such as IMSI's FloorPlan� and Broderbund's 3D Home Architect� v5.

To fully support the architectural, design, and construction industry these 3D symbol libraries are also planned to be released in additional formats for other architectural CAD software programs, such as VectorWorks and DataCAD, and can be made available as individual symbols in other CAD formats upon request. The CADsymbolsT product line will soon be greatly augmented by the introduction of more than one thousand new 3D objects, all of which will be made available in all the supported formats.

The CADsymbolsT libraries contain an extensive selection of 3D objects, including architectural details, appliances, doors, windows, hardware, exterior objects, antique furniture, classic furniture, bathroom objects, kitchen objects, overdoor and overwindow arched stone and brick trims and soldier courses, office furniture, shop objects, balusters, eyebrow dormer assemblies, and much more.

CADsymbolsT 3D models boost productivity by greatly reducing the amount of time an architect, designer, or builder needs to spend to create the realistic 3D environments, and professional work product, needed for clients and industry members to conceptualize proposed construction and remodeling projects.
