Consulting Veteran Marc Cannon Appointed to Lead New think3 Group

PLEASANTON, California - November 18, 2002 - /PRNewswire/ -- think3 today announced the formation of a new global professional services organization to help manufacturers optimize their product development process throughout their extended enterprises. While many medium-sized manufacturing organizations have made significant investments in product design software, few have been able to fully integrate their design processes with their core business processes to meet or exceed overall company objectives. The new think3 group combines the strengths of think3's award-winning software with world-class professional services to help solve critical product development challenges.

The new group will be headed by newly-appointed Vice President of Worldwide Consulting Marc Cannon, a long-time consulting leader who built and directed several of Cadence Design Systems' worldwide service organizations. In his new position at think3, Cannon's charter is to help customers extend the capabilities of think3's CAD, PDM, and Product Configurator technologies to improve the product development process in several key areas.

Cannon's team will provide a structured approach to solving customer product development challenges quickly and cost effectively. Offerings will include basic product adoption services such as training and customization, data translation and design outsourcing, as well as product development optimization, automation and integration services.
