Proficiency's Agreement With EDS PLM Solutions to Further Engineering Collaboration and CAD Interoperability

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. - November 14, 2002 - /PRNewswire/ -- Proficiency, the innovator in engineering supply chain collaboration, today announced it has reached agreement with EDS PLM Solutions to ship 'out of the box' CAD interopera bility components built with the Unigraphics NX and I-deas open toolkits.

Proficiency's support of EDS I-deas(R) and Unigraphics(R) NX in its advanced Collaboration Gateway interoperability solution provides manufacturers a robust, practical solution for interoperability between feature-based modeling systems. The agreement will allow Proficiency to greatly simplify installation, administration and support of today's multi-CAD environments.
