Graphisoft Ships ArchiCADÒ 8 International (UK) and German Versions

Budapest, November 7, 2002 – Graphisoft®, a leading provider of design and building information management solutions, announced today that ArchiCAD®8, the latest release of its flagship architectural design product is shipping. Available on both Macintosh and Windows platforms, Graphisoft ArchiCAD® is the choice of nearly 100,000 design professionals worldwide. ArchiCAD®8’s streamlined interface, increased navigation speed and improved layouting and drafting techniques enable building designers to create documentation faster. Solid operations based on Boolean geometry let architects model complex objects easily enhancing design work.

In response to user feedback, ArchiCAD®8 boasts improved detailing and drafting features. The new Detail Tool expedites 2D work. Organizing an entire project’s documentation is much easier with ArchiCAD®8’s new layouting enhancements. Using the new Layout Book and its automatic time-saving features, architects can create documentation sets more efficiently. Layouts are directly connected to the building model ensuring that all drawing sheets are up-to-date with even last minute changes to the model.
