New Leica LTD800 Laser Trackers Delivered to Airbus UK and ATT Metrology Services

Aerospace Manufacturers and Metrology Providers Seek Groundbreaking Technology for Inspection and Measurement

Norcross, GA � November 4, 2002 � The Metrology Division of Leica Geosystems announced today the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus (Toulouse, France) has selected its new LTD800 laser tracker for precision inspection and measurement in its Aerotooling department (Broughton, UK). Airbus is an EADS joint Company with BAE SYSTEMS. The tracker will be used for the recertifications of main assembly jigs and associated tooling at Airbus.

ATT Metrology Services (Redmond, WA) has also purchased an LTD800 for its operations.
