Cyon Research Names Randall S. Newton as Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of A-E-C Automation Newsletter

BETHESDA, MD - October 30, 2002. Cyon Research Corporation announces that veteran CAD technology journalist Randall S. Newton has joined Cyon Research as the new Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of A-E-C Automation Newsletter, a Cyon Research publication.

A-E-C Automation Newsletter, originally founded by Ed Forrest in 1977 and published by David Weisberg between 1992 and 2000, is a high-level publication covering the strategic use of information technology for architecture, engineering, construction and facility management. Each issue provides in-depth analysis, reporting and insight into this highly complex and diverse market. The publication is available by subscription only.

For the past five years, Randall Newton held the position as Editor of MicroStation Manager magazine. Prior to that, he covered the retail CAD industry as Editor and Publisher of CADD Times. He is the author of seven books on CAD technology and developer of two third-party CAD applications. He has also worked as a CAD industry consultant on software development, marketing, documentation and user training for a variety of clients.
