Procom's NetFORCE 1750 NAS Filer Approved for Suppliers Implementing Ford's C3P Initiative

Storage Solution Meets All Ford GSI Strategy Requirements In Tests Conducted by EDS PLM Supplier Implementation Lab

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Procom Technology (NASDAQ:PRCM), a pioneer in network attached storage (NAS), today announced that its NetFORCE(R) 1750 NAS filer has been approved for use by suppliers implementing the Ford Motor Company's C3P initiative, the CAD/CAM/CAE/PIM solution deployed worldwide in Ford product and vehicle programs.

The NetFORCE 1750 was tested by the EDS PLM Supplier Integration Lab and successfully met all requirements, as prescribed by Ford's Global Supplier Implementation (GSI) Strategy. The GSI team, made up of both Ford and EDS PLM personnel, helps suppliers rapidly implement the Ford C3P initiative, which is built around EDS's product lifecycle management solutions.
