CATIA V5 CAD TRANSLATION AVAILABLE FROM ELYSIUM INC

New Applications Support Rapid, Reliable Translation Between Major MCAD platforms

Southfield, MI - October 16, 2002 - Elysium Inc., a leading global provider of CAD translation software, has recently released major upgrades to its CADporter CAD Translation tools, for sharing data to-and-from CATIA V5.

The CADporter CATIA V5 Translation tools support rapid, reliable and consistent 3D CAD data translation of parts and assemblies between CATIA, I-DEAS, Autodesk Inventor?, ParaSolid? and Pro/ENGINEER.

CADporter for CATIA V5 supports the translation of parts and product structures, and accounts for the unique requirements imposed by the native CAD systems. For example, CADporter ensures that all curves and surfaces imported into CATIA V5 are C2-continuous.
