CGS World Introduces Poly Designer 2002 Presentations Software for AutoCAD

19 Sept 2002 -- CGS (CAD Graphics Solution) World would like to introduce you a CAD and Graphics presentation software "Poly Designer 2002".

It supports AutoCAD 2000 + and ADT 3.0 +.

Poly Designer 2002 is an ObjectArx application that works within and alongside AutoCAD. It can create a full presentation from an AutoCAD drawing in just a few minutes (WYSIWYG). It also translates an AutoCAD DWF file to:

-  SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) which is the most exciting format to come out in years. SVG is where the future stands because there is a wealth of development going on to create open source editing and viewing tools based in Java, C# and C++. The sheer power of the format and the fact that it is open and easy to use will make it a perfect tool for data interchange. We have been able to create documents in AutoCAD and import them into Adobe Illustrator pen weights, hatches and area fills intact.

-  EMF (Enhanced Meta File), It could take the drawing to any Desktop application, with one like Microsoft Word, it could create a PDF file from it.

- Bit Map supporting:

PNG (portable Net Graphics)
TGA (Targa),
TIFF (Tag Information File Format)
JPEG
BMP (window Bit Map). 

PNG and JPEG can create a very small size file for a large format up to (7000 x 5000 pixels). A 100Mb could be compressed down to 2 - 5Mb.

It could bring the drawing to PhotoShop or any other Bit Map Graphics package or take it to the Web for web presentation, parts lists, interactive demonstration and more.
