Cimatron Reinforces International Presence Leading CAD/CAM Vendor Establishes Subsidiary in the U.K.

GIVAT SHMUEL,  Isreal - September 9, 2002 -  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cimatron Ltd., a leading developer of CAD/CAM solutions for the tooling industry, today announced the opening of its subsidiary, Cimatron U.K. Ltd., in Manchester, England.

Cimatron has appointed David Falkingham as the General Manager of Cimatron U. K. David brings sales, marketing and management experience to Cimatron, having served as General Manager, Northern Region, for the U.K.'s largest SolidWorks reseller, New Technology CADCAM Ltd.

The establishment of this subsidiary office will enhance Cimatron's presence and strengthen Cimatron's commitment throughout the U.K. Additional activities, such as strategic alliances with principal organizations within the tooling community, and affiliation with experts and consultants in mold, tool and die manufacturing, will encourage business activity in the region. Cimatron's customer base in the U.K. includes leading toolmakers such as Mason Pinder, Hanson Thorpe, and Fylde Precision Toolmakers, who effectively use Cimatron software on many complex jobs.

During the last 15 years, Cimatron successfully exhibited leadership in the European CAD/CAM for tooling market, with the establishment of two subsidiaries in Germany and in France, and a European distributor network covering Italy, Benelux, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and others.
