TTI to Add CATIA V5 to its Interoperability Solutions 

Becomes a Spatial CAA V5 Adopter

SPOKANE, Washington - August 21, 2002 - /PRNewswire/ -- Translation Technologies Inc. (TTI), leading provider of fully modifiable data exchange between computer-aided design (CAD) systems, today announced an agreement with Spatial Corp., a market-leading provider of 3D development technologies, granting TTI a license to develop software utilizing Spatial's CAA V5 (Component Application Architecture).

The result of the agreement will be the addition of CATIA V5 to TTI's Acc-u-Trans(TM) Interoperability software. This will give CATIA V5 users a solution for full interoperability between various CAD systems.

TTI's patent pending software currently allows companies to effectively communicate complex, highly precise CAD models between CATIA V4, Pro/Engineer, Unigraphics, and I-DEAS.

According to McDonald, performance-benchmarking reveals that Acc-u-Trans translations typically take 5 to 25% of the time, depending on the particulars of the translation, required to perform manual re-mastering and checking.

CATIA V5 data exchange solutions will be made available both to customers that outsource their models to TTI on a pay-per-use service, and to those that license the Acc-u-Trans CSI (Customer Site Installation) software for on-site use.
