Swift Engineering Inc. Signs Cooperative Marketing Agreement with PTC 

NEEDHAM, Mass. - August 1, 2002 -  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PTC, (NASDAQ:PMTC), the product development company, today announced that it has signed a cooperative marketing agreement with Swift Engineering Inc. Under the agreement Swift Engineering has expanded their use of PTC's Pro/ENGINEER(R) product line and will provide design and engineering services to customers looking to outsource engineering projects in order to realize a competitive advantage.

The Engineering services provided range from data conversion, drafting, design, and analysis to full project management. Swift Engineering participation will assure the PTC customer that professionals who have real life experience in design and manufacturing are managing projects. For twenty years, Swift has designed and manufactured high performance automotive, aerospace and general industrial products that have met rigid standards and demanding product delivery deadlines.

Swift will afford PTC customers a competitive edge by shortening time-to- market, saving direct and overhead engineering costs, and increasing customer satisfaction.
