PocketCAD Supports Intel's XScale Microarchitecture

DULLES, Virginia - July 29, 2002 - Arc Second, Inc., the leading provider of full-function mobile CAD software solutions, today announced that PocketCAD PRO 4.0 and the PocketCAD Viewer 4.0 support the new class of handheld devices based on the Intel XScale processor. Companies such as Compaq, Toshiba and Fujitsu presently have devices using the new, more efficient processor.

PocketCAD's award winning software for Windows-based mobile devices is used heavily in the AEC industry. PocketCAD's math- and graphics-intensive applications are expected to benefit from the performance and energy efficiency afforded by this new class of device.
