Never Seen Before: New Products and Services Being Launched at GeoSolutions 2002

LONDON, UK - 10 July 2002 - PR Newswire/ -- GeoSolutions 2002 has been chosen by numerous organisations, as the platform to launch their new products and services. GeoSolutions 2002, incorporating GIS, the AGI 2002 Conference and the GeoSolutions Forums, will be held 17-19 September 2002 at Earls Court 2, London.

Launching a new product to manage Ordnance Survey MasterMap data. 

The product has been developed to gain the full benefits of the Ordnance Survey MasterMap data.

Launching the following products

  • Cadcorp SIS - Spatial Information System Version 6.
  • Cadcorp apSIS - OpenGIS conformant, programmable Geographic

Information Systems (GIS) component software.

  • Cadcorp mSIS - Mobile data capture solution for Pocket PC.
  • MasterMap - Management tools for the Cadcorp GIS product range.

Launching version 2 of InterOSe and SuperpOSe with support for Ordnance Survey's MasterMap Layers; Addressees and Integrated Transport Network.

Other products being launched are for Ordnance Survey MasterMap: PocketMapper - providing GIS capabilities for hand held devices and Capture Wiz - a tool to assist in associating polygons with TOIDs.

Launching a new integrated GIS solution for e-Government. "eGGP Enterprise" is a plug-and-go web GIS solution linking multiple data sources and designed for easy integration with local government websites. It provides a wide access to maps, images and council information both enterprise and community wide.

Launching GeoStore: a Spatial Data Warehouse, incorporating Radius technology from Laser-Scan Snapping and Editing functionality in PlanWeb 2.

Plans to launch 2 new products. Firstly the latest version of Cartology Explorer, its web based GIS and secondly its latest web based version of Fast GAZETTEER, its BS7666 gazetteer for the NLPG and NSG.

Landmark Government makes its debut at GeoSolutions 2002! Using the same unique national data sets, and an unrivalled GIS skill-base based in the UK and India, Landmark Government will focus on the specialised Geographic Information (GI) needs of Central and Local Government.

Launching the following products:

  • MapInfo Professional version 7.0 - the latest version of MapInfo's market leading location-intelligence software solution.
  • MapInfo Discovery - an add-on for MapInfo Professionals that enables users to publish interactive location analysis reports and maps on the Internet.
  • MapInfo Professional for MicrsoftSQL Server - a specialised version of MapInfo Professional which provides all the functionality of MapInfo Professional, with the added benefit of allowing groups of people to based data within Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Launching "GO Loader" - GML (Geography Markup Language) to Oracle at the touch of a button. GO Loader is a software tool specifically developed for data modeling and loading Oracle spatial databases with geographical data supplied in GML formats.
  • Launching FastMAP Office - a stand alone system with easy map plotting to scale, CAD functionality, thematic mapping, handling of OS MasterMap data, ECW etc.
  • Launching MapLink Enterprise 4.5 - This new product release includes new functionality for scheduling, routing and logistics, enhancing dynamic decision support and efficiency. Extended data fusion techniques facilitate further diverse data integration, including multi-media information at the desktop.

  • CR Connect - A hosted service bringing low cost, on-line access to Cities Revealed? aerial photography
  • Training 4 GIS - A new range of GIS and imagery training
  • GI Historic Ltd - A subsidiary of The GeoInformation Group specialising in sourcing aerial photography from archives, creating digital databases and providing consultancy and product support.
