Kwoya Industrial Purchases Moldflow Plastics Insight for Design Optimization

WAYLAND, Mass.--July 2, 2002--Moldflow Corporation (NASDAQ: MFLO), the world leader in process-wide solutions for optimizing the design and manufacture of plastic products, today announced that Kwoya Industrial Co. Ltd., a Japanese molder for the transportation industry, has made a significant purchase of the Moldflow Plastics Insight(TM) suite of software for design optimization. The order, which is valued at approximately $150,000, was shipped during Moldflow's fourth fiscal quarter.
