Santa Clara, California, May 22, 2002 - think3 continues to turn heads in the CAD market, announcing today that Scott W. Rudy III, PTC's former and most recent senior vice president for the Americas, will join as vice president, worldwide sales.

The announcement builds on a surge of recent think3 momentum, including several major customer wins in strategic markets such as packaging machinery and aerospace, and a soon-to-be announced new product release. Rudy will drive think3's aggressive sales assault, assuming immediate responsibility for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to grow think3's customer base and market penetration throughout the North American markets.

Most recently, he served as senior vice president, Americas for PTC, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and management of 325 sales, engineering and support personnel. During his distinguished tenure, Rudy received six promotions in ten years, while establishing himself as a leader of top performing national and international sales teams. Rudy earned high international rankings for his sales excellence and played a major role in PTC's growth and expansion throughout North America. Prior to PTC, Rudy served in a variety of sales and management positions at NIKU, GRiD System Corporation and TRW.
