Cimatron Partners With ALTECH and Expands Its Distribution Channels in Japan

GIVAT SHMUEL, Israel, April 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cimatron Ltd. (NASDAQ:CIMT) -- Cimatron Ltd., a leading developer of CAD/CAM solutions for the tooling industry, today announced the signing of a distribution agreement in Japan with ALTECH Co., Ltd., located in Tokyo. Effective April 1st, Cimatron's distribution channels in Japan will be expanded by ALTECH, together with Saeilo Japan and other Cimatron distributors in the region.

Established in 1976, ALTECH is an alliance of several prominent Japan-based companies including ALT Group, with 2001 revenues of over $200 million. The Company specializes in system integration for large manufacturing companies, and boasts a customer base of internationally acclaimed corporations, including Sanyo, Panasonic, TDK, Nintendo, and Nikon. ALTECH provides these electronics giants, and others, with superior process solutions.
