ESysPDM Integrates With Core Engineering Software Applications

Leeds, UK -- 24/04/02 -- Enabled Systems have announced the released of a suite of integration packages which allow the functionality of their ESysPDM Product Data Management system to be used with the core applications engineers use in their day to day work. These Integrations provide an additional tool for ESysPDM users in increasing their engineering productivity.

Enabled Systems Ltd have announced that from April 2002, additional software components are available to ESysPDM customers which will allow ESysPDM functionality to be used within other key applications used in core engineering work. Autodesk AutoCAD� Automatically insert ESysPDM Document information into AutoCAD drawing borders

Autodesk Inventor� Call ESysPDM functions such as checking documents in and out of the secure Files Vault and viewing document properties from an Inventor menu bar item

Cimmetry AutoView� View and mark up any document in an AutoView compatible format with an AutoView Window launched from within ESysPDM

Using sophisticated API programming techniques Enabled Systems have ensured that ESysPDM functionality is available in these familiar applications which are integral to the day to day work of engineers and other users in engineering enterprises.

By being able to use ESysPDM's functionality from within these third party applications, users can increase their productivity by reducing the time spent copying information which is already available in ESysPDM into their document production applications.
