Autodesk Restructure Streamlines Operations Across South Asia PacificAustralia's Andr� Pravaz Extends Management Region To Include India and Appoints New Local Distributors
Australia, April 2, 2002-Autodesk, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADSK), the world's leading design software and digital content company, today created a new South Asia Pacific (SAPac) management structure, adding India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to the previous Autodesk South East Asia Pacific (SEAPac) Region. Andr� Pravaz, Autodesk's Regional Director, based in Sydney, takes responsibility for the new expanded SAPac region. Tech Pacific (NZ) Limited and Tech Pacific (India) Limited has been appointed as the Autodesk Distributor for New Zealand and India respectively. According to Mr. Andr� Pravaz, "Autodesk's decision to include its Indian operation within the SAPac management structure is designed to streamline management resources and enhance customer service capability." As part of the restructure, Autodesk has bolstered the management team in Australia and Singapore, with new regional roles for Sales Development, Pre-Sales Support, Marketing, Major Accounts and Channel Management. Mr. Pravaz leads a senior, experienced management team to provide customers with complete customer care. The Divisions set up to support the customers are as follows: Sales Development Major Accounts Pre Sales Support Support and Training Marketing Channel Management Finance and Administration This is an exciting time for Autodesk, explains Andr� Pravaz.
