Inaugural Autodesk iDesign Awards Spark Designer Innovation
SYDNEY, March 20, 2002 - Autodesk, the world's leading design software and digital content company, has announced the inaugural iDesign Awards, a global design competition that will honour excellence and innovation in digital design. As a worldwide design software company, Autodesk helps over 4,000,000 design professionals in over 160 countries model, make, manage, and market their designs. Autodesk is calling for entries from professionals and students who have solved a design challenge and, in the process, achieved a perfect balance of form and function. 36 regional winners will be awarded their choice of Autodesk software, a digital camera, and a trip to Autodesk University in Las Vegas. 12 of those regional winners will be selected as the worldwide iDesign Award winners and will receive official iDesign Awards trophies.
