Golden Valve Awards Showcase Plant Design CAD Graphics at International Process & Power 2002

Intergraph Process, Power & Offshore Software Users Eligible to Win $1,000 for Best in Show Award; $5,000 in Other Prizes - Deadline April 15

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 19, 2002 - Winning entries in the annual Golden Valve computer graphics competition are scheduled for exhibition at the International Process & Power 2002 conference, May 19-23, Huntsville, Ala., USA. Registered users of Intergraph Process, Power & Offshore software, including SmartPlant(r) Review and PDS(tm) 3D software, are eligible to compete for nearly $6,000 (U. S.) in awards. The deadline for entries is April 15. Sponsored by the Process and Power Client Community (P2C2), the conference and the Golden Valve competition are underwritten by the Process, Power & Offshore division of Intergraph Corporation <Nasdaq: INGR>.

Competition categories consist of Graphic Arts, Renderings & Raytracings and Animation. Winning entries for 2001 are posted in a Web gallery linked to the Golden Valve site.

Competition Offers Nearly $6,000 in Awards

The best of show winner receives $1,000 plus free registration for next year's International Process & Power conference. First, second and third place winners in each of the three categories receive $750 plus free conference registration, $300 and $150 respectively.

The competition showcases the expertise of customers using Intergraph Process, Power & Offshore software. Award winners receive international recognition for entries, which are often published in industry magazines and appear in the division's marketing materials and on its Web site. High-resolution images of the winning entries are available to editors and art directors of CAD/CAM/CAE print and Web publications. The Golden Valve Award continues the tradition of the former Intergraph Graphics Users Group (IGUG) Golden Mouse Award.

International Conference Offers Exceptional Technical Value

International Process & Power 2002 offers Intergraph Process, Power & Offshore software users more than 75 customer-led technical sessions, 14 hands-on workshops and 13 training classes. The event also features the two-day management series, "Challenges and Opportunities of the Engineering Information Age," which includes presentations and interactive discussions to enable participants to objectively assess the opportunities and bottom-line benefits of delivering advanced engineering and plant information systems.
