truEInnovations Introduces truEVault, Workgroup based File Management for Autodesk Inventor & Autodesk Streamline
Eagan, Minnesota, February 11, 2002 - truEInnovations, Inc., a supplier of file and data management software for the mechanical computer aided design (MCAD) industry, today announced truEVault, the first in-window file management solution designed specifically for Autodesk InventorTM 3D design software. truEVault is a data and document management tool that gives customers the ability to work concurrently with other members of their team while keeping all current data and past revisions in a secure vault for access at any time. truEVault delivers customers the tightest integration between a 3D software application and file management solution on the market. With this release, truEVault also becomes the first file management solution to be integrated with Autodesk StreamlineTM, Autodesk�s hosted collaboration service designed for small and midsize manufacturers to instantly share design information across extended manufacturing teams. The First In-Window File Management Application for Autodesk Inventor Leveraging the cutting edge Application Programming Interface (API) of Autodesk Inventor, truEVault offers the best possible user experience by tightly integrating a file management solution directly within the Autodesk Inventor software�s user interface. This integration offers customers a seamless experience by limiting the number of applications that need to be open at one time, as well as eliminating the need to continuously switch between applications. Both of these features equate to more productivity for the customer. The First Integration with Autodesk Streamline truEVault complements the Autodesk Streamline collaboration capabilities by bridging the authoring tool with the collaboration tool, therefore allowing automatic publishing to the Autodesk Streamline site based on interaction with Autodesk Inventor software. This integration keeps the user�s viewable files up to date while making sure the entire organization has the latest version available.
