Plot Minder is a plot tracking and cost-recovery application for AutoCAD and now AutoCAD LT. While many applications provide plot management, few applications track plotting activity for the purpose of providing reports for future cost analysis and/or billing. Plot Minder is designed and dedicated to plot cost recovery. Working inside AutoCAD, completely transparent to the user, Plot Minder tracks and records valuable information for each plotting activity. As often as needed, the user may create reports, customized from standard templates, to be used for billing, job cost analysis, and future estimating. Automatically Captures Plot Data Plot Minder delivers unparalleled ease of use and accuracy for capturing AutoCAD LT plot activity and media usage. Once loaded, Plot Minder runs transparently in AutoCAD LT. As each plot is generated, Plot Minder captures predefined information about that plot such as job number, drawing name, plot area (requested or effective), user name, date & time, number of copies, and cost. Reporting Activities Plot Minder includes several standard report templates that allow the user to 'filter' each report to create hundreds of different report formats. In addition to the standard report templates, Plot Minder for AutoCAD LT also provides 'hooks' into the plot database that allow the user to produce custom report templates. Administration Plot Minder is password protected for different levels of administrative and user authority. Administrators can control who has access to what information.
