Delcam Establishes New Hong Kong Joint Venture

Birmingham, UK, 29 Jan 2002 - Delcam is pleased to announce the formation of Delcam (Hong Kong) Ltd., a new Joint Venture company set up in association with Forida, Delcam�s long-standing local representative in the territory. The new Joint Venture will represent Delcam in Hong Kong itself and in the wider South China region, both by supporting the existing distributors and by making direct sales.

Delcam (Hong Kong) Ltd. will also provide additional technical support on behalf of Delcam to the company�s other dealers in China, in association with Delcam�s recently-established South China Technical Centre based in Guangzhou.

Commenting on the establishment of the new Joint Venture, Delcam�s International Sales Director Tim Mitchell said, "The Hong Kong and South China region has a fast growing manufacturing base. There are many mouldmakers, footwear producers, toy makers, and manufacturers of other consumer products in need of the powerful CADCAM systems that we can provide."
