EVOLVE Customers Quick to Embrace Evolve 5.5

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- More than 30 percent of Evolve Software (NASDAQ:EVLV) customers including Autodesk, Ryder, Sun Microsystems and American Electric Power have upgraded to the company's Evolve(R) 5.5 service delivery product in the three months it has been available.

Evolve released Evolve 5.5 in September 2002. The service delivery software allows corporate IT and professional service organizations to manage projects, resources and related budgets. As a result, Evolve customers gain needed visibility into their operations, control costs, align IT investments with overall company objectives, and track and allocate resources to the projects.

The Evolve 5.5 release adds key functionality for corporate IT clients, including enhanced resource scheduling capability, and introduces the first Web services platform for the service delivery market. The Web services offering increases Evolve customers' return on investment by lowering total cost of ownership while providing faster and simpler integration with their existing enterprise applications.
