COSMOS/EMS Becomes Newest SolidWorks Solution Partner Product

LOS ANGELES, California - December 3, 2001 - Structural Research & Analysis Corp. (SRAC), developer of COSMOS/Works, the best selling analysis solution for SolidWorks software, announced today that COSMOS/EMS, its electromagnetic design software, has successfully met the criteria required to become a SolidWorks Solution Partner product.

COSMOS/EMS, a 3D-field simulator for low frequency electromagnetic/electromechanical applications, is fully associative with SolidWorks software. It is designed to help engineers gain physical insight into the performance of their designs through the computation of important parameters such as: torques, forces, fields, currents, inductances, capacitances, flux linkages, current losses and electrical stresses.

"Using COSMOS/EMS, we can change an electrode geometry and analyze an electrical field within a half hour. If we had to do these three dimensional calculations for the more complicated electrode geometries by hand, it would take days."
