LightWorks integrated within next generation of software.

SHEFFIELD, UK - 9 November 2001 - LightWork Design, the world's leading supplier of quality advanced computer graphics software for rendering, simulation and visualization solutions, today announced that ImpactXoft Corporation has licensed LightWorks - the industry's fastest rendering engine - for inclusion within its next generation of software for Simultaneous Product Development.

ImpactXoft has created the IX SpeeD software expressly to support the practice of Simultaneous Product Development. The software features a tool for digital product modeling that combines full-strength modeling power with a new approach to usability. IX SpeeD also opens the full functionality of digital design to any participant in the development process. It enables all the specialists in the enterprise, regardless of location or role, to practice Simultaneous Product Development in order to develop quality products in a shorter amount of time. The integration of LightWorks within the product will add a new dimension of quality photorealism to the results achieved.
