HatchPatterns.com Goes Multilingual

HatchPatterns.com has been translated into four European languages, Spanish, German, Italian and French.

SCOTLAND - November 1, 2001 - HatchPatterns.com has been offering custom hatch patterns for AutoCAD for almost four years. In the beginning they offered a free collection of hatches, but in response to demand, they created a collection of woodgrain and stone hatches, which have been proving very popular with AutoCAD users worldwide.

Most of the visitors to HatchPatterns.com come from the United States, in fact a whopping 90%. In a move to attract more visitors from Europe, the site has been translated into the major European languages.

Charles Sweeney from HatchPatterns.com says: "I think we are all guilty of assuming that most of our visitors speak English. There is a huge number of potential site visitors worldwide who do not speak English, yet very few websites cater for them."

"We will monitor the response from Europe and European language speaking countries before considering translation into Asian and Arabic languages."
