Xerox Selects TranscenData for Integration Solutions

MILFORD, OH - October 19, 2001 - The TranscenData business of International TechneGroup Incorporated (ITI) announces its selection by Xerox Corporation (NYSE:XRX) to provide a solution for integrating the engineering supply chain. Xerox is employing TranscenData's DEXcenter (Data Exchange Center) tool to translate and transfer files between departments, customers, and suppliers. DEXcenter is a web-based solution that automates, centralizes, and manages the exchange of engineering product data throughout the supply chain, regardless of that data's type, source, or destination.

Total Time to Market savings for Xerox as a result of their DEXcenter is estimated to be in the order of $8 Million to $10 Million. "Yearly resource savings of $1.8 Million alone are the direct result of our transition to DEXcenter's more effective and automated electronic data exchange process," explained Bud Krayer - CAD/CAM Project Manager in Xerox Research & Technology, Corporate Engineering Center, Engineering Systems.
