BEVERLY, Massachusetts - October 15, 2001 - Infrasoft Corporation, a global supplier of IT solutions for civil engineering, announced today it has been ranked in Deloitte and Touche's New England Technology Fast 50 for the second consecutive year. The company received the award for outstanding revenue growth over a five year period. Deloitte and Touche reported that despite a slow economy and significant layoffs in the New England area, the average five-year growth rate for the 2001 Fast 50 is an astounding 2,877 percent -- exceeding last year's growth by 36 percent. In 2000, Infrasoft Corporation was ranked in the Inc. 500, Deloitte and Touches' New England Fast 50 list and the nationwide Fast 500 list. The company develops award-winning software products for engineers and architects involved in road design and renewal, site development, and rail engineering.

William F. Lee, managing partner of Hale and Dorr LLP and co-chair of the New England Technology Fast 50, commented, "It is wonderful to see the growth rates of the Fast 50. The performance of these companies demonstrates that they have great products and services, and that those companies with the best technologies continue to move forward."

"We are very honored to be recognized for the second time with a prestigious ranking in the New England Fast 50 list," stated Rick Fiery, CEO of Infrasoft Corporation. "Infrasoft takes a leading role in driving innovation for the field of civil engineering. We continually monitor and respond to market trends and needs. The introduction of our unique Collaborative Engineering product this year is testimony of our forward thinking. This revolutionary technology allows a team of engineers to simultaneously work on a shared project, from initial concept design to management of the final asset, while separated by time, geographic location, language and design code. As we rally behind progressive development, Infrasoft will continue to attract and win business from blue-chip clients around the globe."

All companies participating in the New England program are also entered into Deloitte & Touche's national recognition program, the Technology Fast 500. Winners of the Technology Fast 500 will be featured in a national business technology publication this fall. Industries represented in the 2001 New England Technology Fast 50 include software, Internet infrastructure, biotechnology, computer/peripherals, semiconductors, communications/networking and medical/scientific devices.
