Docupoint Reports Record Revenue Growth

SUNNYVALE, Calif., October 4, 2001 - Docupoint today announced record revenue growth for the company's third quarter. Sales for the quarter grew by 73% from the same period last year and 130% from the prior quarter. The financial results reflect strong new sales and upgrades of the recently released DrawingSearcher version 2.5. DrawingSearcher combines the functionality of a web server, full text search engine and DWF (Drawing Web Format) web publishing component into an easy-to-use server application for AutoCAD.

Record sales growth of 130% over the prior quarter.

Sales growth of 73% over the same period last year.

Funded on-going growth from profits without external capital.

Continued penetration of Major Accounts with DrawingSearcher.

Notable wins include Citgo Pipeline and Williams Communications.

Successful completion of custom software development projects for Weyerhaeuser and Quotegen.com.

Strong International sales including first time sales into Norway (Institutt for energiteknikk) and Chile (Chilqunita Energia S.A.).

Continued strong component sales of the Whip-n-Post! ActiveX control (DWG to DWF conversion).

Hiring of additional software development staff.
