UCLID Software Selects Avatech Solutions as its First National Reseller

Avatech to offer IcoMap software to GIS, civil and surveying customers

MADISON, Wisconsin - August 30, 2001 - UCLID Software today announced that its IcoMap conversion and mapping software is now available through Avatech Solutions, the nation's leading provider of design automation software, training, integration services, and technical support. Avatech offices in New York, Texas, Virginia, Iowa and Maryland, which currently have an emphasis on civil and AEC software, will be the first to include IcoMap in their product offerings.

Surveyors, civil engineers and GIS professionals use IcoMap to convert legal descriptions and other paper land records into digital parcel maps suitable for a GIS. IcoMap employs a patented Text-to-Vector technology for efficient yet accurate conversion of paper documents. IcoMap has received numerous awards, and even claimed the 2001 National New Product Award from the National Society of Professional Engineers.
