Solid Edge running on Intel architecture continues to bring measurable productivity gains to users of the Solid Edge mechanical computer-aided design system.

Solid Edge code, with the optimized Parasolid geometric modeling kernel, takes advantage of Intel's Netburst micro-architecture to offer performance gains of up to 30 percent for drawing view creation. The optimization capabilities also provide up to a 30 percent reduction in the time it takes for 3D modeling operations with Solid Edge.
