Cyco Software Strengthens Strategic Focun on Providing Solutions for Departmental CAD & Engineering Market

Company Announces Strong Commitment to Resellers and the Development of New Products

ATLANTA, GA - July 6, 2001 - Cyco Software, the leading provider of document management software for the design and engineering environment, today announced that the company will strategically focus on strengthening its leading position in the departmental and divisional CAD/engineering market. Since 1984, Cyco has been developing departmental solutions which are particularly suited for this market space. Cyco's products are furthermore known for their ease of deployment, ease of use and their excellent price-performance ratio.

Cyco Software will continue to work closely with its channel partners and will extend its world-wide distribution network. As a result of these strategic decisions, the direct business development activities in the enterprise EDM market will be discontinued. As a consequence Cyco Software has gone through a recent reorganisation which has led to a reduction of staff.

Cyco announced in addition that both its AutoManager products, AutoManager WorkFlow and AutoManager Meridian, will further be developed. In the second half of this year the company will launch new releases of the two products. Both productlines will be based on the same technology platform. Cyco Software is currently also developing additional applications on top of AutoManager Meridian for selected market segments.
