ASPire3D Adds Free RFQ Service to 2D to 3D Conversion PortalAlso adds support for new CAD releasesARLINGTON, Texas - June 29, 2001 ASPire3D released their latest feature on their automated 2D to 3D conversion ASP website today a free RFQ service. This will allow customers to send in their drawings to ASPire3D for a free automated quote for conversion to 3D. This option is particularly useful to companies that have large holdings of legacy 2D data interested in bulk conversions. ASPire3D also announced today a new pricing scheme for bulk conversions with substantial discounts over standard ASP conversion rates. The Request For Quote is very easy to use. After users register and log in to http://www.2Dto3DCAD.com, they can click on the Free RFQ link at the top of the page. This will take them to a page where they can select one or more files from their computer to upload to the ASPire3D website. Users then have to specify what output format they want their 3D models to be. They have the option of submitting a text message with their files to send any comments, including the total number of drawings they would like to convert. The RFQ submissions are listed on the users My Conversions page. They will then receive a separate e-mail from ASPire3D Customer Support with pricing and other details. ASPire3D also announced immediate support for all the latest CAD releases from Autodesk and SolidWorks. Users can now request 3D models in the following versions Mechanical Desktop 6, AutoCAD 2002 and SolidWorks 2001. ASPire3D also produces output in earlier versions of these software as well as neutral file formats such as STEP, IGES and SAT. Commenting on the new features, Dr. Raj Ganesan, Vice President of Marketing said, "We received many requests from customers for an automated RFQ for bulk conversions. We are noticing that more and more customers are interested in opening up their 2D archives and would like a free quote first before submitting drawings for conversions. We are also keeping up to date with new releases from the major CAD vendors." About ASPire3DASPire3D is an ASP portal from Imagecom, Inc., a privately held company located at Arlington, Texas.
