WebScope Announces Joint Marketing Agreement with Sun Microsystems

Company Providing Visual Collaboration Infrastructure for Sun CPC Solutions

SUNNYVALE, California - February 26, 2001 - WebScope Inc. announced today a joint marketing agreement with Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SUNW) in which the company is recognized as a preferred vendor for Internet product collaboration. Under the new alliance, the companies will work closely together to co-market Collaborative Product Commerce (CPC) solutions based on the Sun Solaris Operating Environment (OE).

As one of the only web-native product collaboration solution written entirely in Java technology, WebScope enables manufacturing companies, and their suppliers and partners, to collaborate and communicate in a common, secure real-time environment - regardless of the file format, participants' location, computing platform or network.
