Support for the Linux open-source operating system comes from both VERITAS NetBackup DataCenter and VERITAS NetBackup BusinesServer. VERITAS NetBackup DataCenter is a mainframe-strength solution designed for the most data-intensive environments. VERITAS NetBackup BusinesServer is an easy to use solution designed for small- to medium-size enterprise installations, combining the performance necessary for high-speed backups with an intuitive, centralised administrative interface. The first database backup solution for the Linux environment protects Oracle(r) databases via an option to VERITAS NetBackup.
