CADTECH set to integrate MachineWorks technology

CADTECH's design, modeling and manufacturing solution, SOLIDCAM 2000 is set to integrate MachineWorks, the industry leading component simulation/verification technology

SHEFFIELD, UK - February 5, 2001 - LightWork Design, the worldwide leader in component 3D visualization and simulation software, announced today that the Israeli-based CAD/CAM developer, CADTECH has licensed MachineWorks for its SOLIDCAM 2000 solution.

SOLIDCAM 2000 supports 2.5 and 3 axis milling, as well as turning and combined turning/milling. SOLIDCAM 2000 can work as a stand-alone solution or be integrated with Bentley's Microstation/J Modeler, AutoDesk's AutoCAD 2000 product and Mechanical Desktop 5.0 CAD software.
