IDEAL and KIP Co-Sponsor Seminar, Scan to the Web and Print from the WebAugust 10, 2000, Rockville, MD - IDEAL Systems & Scanners, Inc. is pleased to announce an upcoming internet based productivity Scan to the Web and Print from the Web seminar for Architects, Engineers, Facility Managers, Manufacturers and government agencies working with large format documents. "IDEAL has teamed with KIP to offer a free technology seminar to demonstrate how easy it is to scan, index, host and print," says Jay Magenheim, IDEAL's President. "The seminar is designed as an educational forum to provide non-technical personnel with quick tips and techniques in using the latest in exciting and innovative web-based technology." Scan to the Web and Print from the Web will feature a conceptual and hands on overview of IDEAL's award winning IntraNETIXTM technology, which breaks bandwidth barriers and which makes browser based document acquisition and distribution across multi-platforms easy. Seminar attendees will see first hand IDEAL's 50" wide large format monochrome scanners integrated with Digital Container, a document acquisition and distribution web server, as well as KIP Printers. IntraNETIXTM, Digital Container's core technology, automates multi-field indexing and will web-enable scanned documents. Browser based searches immediately locate and retrieve the huge digital files. Because of Thin Client Computing Technology built into IntraNETIXTM, these huge files are immediately accessed and viewed for zooming, panning, and even printing from the web browser. IDEAL and KIP representatives will provide attendees with a complete overview of the following:
