Intercad announces the launch of 4 new 3dlabs cards

FRENCHS FOREST, August 8, 2000 - At Siggraph 2000 in New Orleans, 3Dlabs announced several new products bringing additional power and functionality to the professional workstation market. They include:

Oxygen VX1-1600SW -The hottest entry-level professional 3D graphics accelerator is now compatible with the industry's hottest flat panel display. 3DLabs added an LVDS connector to the powerful Oxygen VX1 allowing the user to connect to a Silicon Graphics 1600SW flat panel display. New and current users of these displays will appreciate the quality visual experience only an Oxygen VX1 can provide. Joel Ingulsrud, product manager for flat panel displays at SGI said, "The quality and stability of the Oxygen VX1-1600SW is phenomenal and we are thrilled to be able to offer existing and new users of the Silicon Graphics 1600SW a cost-effective, direct-drive board with true professional-grade 2D and OpenGL performance."
