New Oce 9600 Print Driver Offered in Intergraph's InterPlot Solution

New Printer Driver Pack Increases Speed and Printing Capabilities for InterPlot Users

CHICAGO - August 2, 2000 - Oce, the U.S. leader in wide-format plotting, copying, and scanning, has teamed up with Intergraph Corporation to offer the Oce 9600 Print Driver in their InterPlot Mid-Volume Driver pack. With this new addition, Intergraph and Oce customers are now able to take full advantage of the complete Intergraph InterPlot solution with the Oce 9600 wide-format printer and to fully utilize the Oce 9600's printing capabilities for a wide variety of CAD/EDM printing environments. This driver is aimed at those users who wish to plot high-quality graphics and text with the Oce 9600 wide-format printing system. Markets include process engineering, government, departments of transportation, utilities, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Architect, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) companies.

With the inclusion of the Oce 9600 Driver, the InterPlot Mid-Volume Driver pack is the only driver in its class to fully utilize the Oce Controller Interface (OCI). This next generation programming interface allows developers to take full advantage of the Oce Remote Logic in the Oce 9600, so users can control their plotting from any desktop. The user can manipulate specific Oce 9600 finishing features remotely, including folding and output delivery tray control, etc.The driver also has enhanced capabilities of error handling at the server level, which allows the user to control fault conditions regarding media types and sizes.
