OnCourse Subsidiary Signs Major Vendor in Japan, Announces Record-Breaking Second Quarter

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona - July 28, 2000 - TekSoft, Inc. is represented now in Japan by Itochu Japan, the world's number-one vendor for Sun Microsystems, and Japan's leading distributor for Cisco, Oracle, Sun, Sybase and Netscape. TekSoft, a leading developer of PC-based CAD/CAM software used in metal manufacturing industries, is a subsidiary of OnCourse Technologies, Inc.

The announcement of a far-reaching distribution agreement with Itochu Japan for TekSoft's CAMWorks engineering software was made this week by Gary Fulton, President of TekSoft, Inc., a subsidiary of the publicly traded OnCourse Technologies, Inc. (over-the-counter trading symbol: OCTH). The CAMWorks application - recently translated into Japanese - is widely used in the U.S. and abroad as a state-of-the-art software application completely integrated with SolidWorks solid modeling.

The distribution of CAMWorks in Japan through Itochu Japan is among the highlights of a period of tremendous sales growth for TekSoft, Inc. and its software products. The agreement was completed during Second Quarter 2000, TekSoft's best quarter ever with record-breaking sales. In addition to increasing its sales in the U.S., the newly acquired subsidiary of OnCourse Technologies is also significantly expanding its presence in major manufacturing markets around the globe.

A new Spanish-language version for CAMWorks, for example, is now available in Spain through a distribution agreement with Goitek. Several distributors represent CAMWorks in Latin America, including Meggaton in Brazil. Elsewhere, CAMWorks vendors range from Cadware in France to Innovative Manufacturing Technologies in Germany.

TekSoft was acquired by OnCourse Technologies in January 2000 in a multimillion-dollar stock transaction. TekSoft clients include Allied Signal, BF Goodrich, Glaxo Wellcome, Johnson & Johnson, Polaroid and Procter & Gamble, among numerous others. Founded in 1981, the Scottsdale, Arizona-based TekSoft developed the first PC-based CAD/CAM (computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing) system in its field. Over the years, it has introduced a number of advanced features, including the first PC-based system with a graphical user interface.

OnCourse Technologies, based in New Berlin, Wisconsin, is the publicly held parent company of other industry leaders, including Micro Estimating, a major supplier of Windows-based estimating products for manufacturing; CAM Solutions, a prominent distributor of CAD/CAM products; and Cimtronics, an international sales and marketing organization representing computer software developers. OnCourse is also the sole North American representative for the much-in-demand AutoTAS tool management software from the world's leading maker of tooling for manufacturers, Sandvik Coromant of Sweden.
