AutoVue Now Supports 2D & 3D Solid EdgeMONTREAL, Canada - July 27, 2000 - Cimmetry Systems, Inc., foremost developer of Visualization, Collaboration and Markup solutions announces today the inclusion of 2D and 3D Solid Edge format support in its AutoVue viewing application. AutoVue now fully supports the Solid Edge design package, allowing users to View and Markup Solid Edge models and drawings natively i.e. with no need for conversion. Models can be manipulated in three dimensions, spun, rotated and sectioned and assemblies can be exploded. Precise measurements can be taken and the user can, at a click of the mouse, navigate between a model and its related drafts. The interface is intuitive and straightforward yet is extremely versatile and customizable. AutoVue is also available in a thin-client Java version, allowing users equipped with only a Web browser to access their Solid Edge files over the Internet.
